All students in kindergarten through grades twelve (k-12) are required to wear school uniforms. Okolona Public Schools believe that a positive school environment is a major factor in high student achievement. There are many factors that lead to a positive learning environment. Safety, discipline, and school unity are three of those factors. Okolona Public School believe that wearing school uniforms is one way to achieve all there of these goals. School uniforms, which refers to wearing the same style / or color of dress, can create a safe environment because they help to identify non-school persons.

MAROON OR WHITE TOPS, KHAKI BOTTOMS

GIRL’S TOPS:

• Maroon or White Polo Shirts with short or long sleeves (golf type shirt)
• White Oxford Shirts with short or long sleeves (button down collar)
• White Peter Pan Collar Shirts with short or long sleeves
• Maroon or White Turtleneck
• Maroon Sweater Vest
• Maroon Cardigan Sweater

GIRL’S BOTTOMS:

• Khaki Dress or Uniform Pants
• Khaki Uniform Walking Shorts to the knee
• Khaki Uniform Capri’s
• Khaki Uniform Skirts to the knee
• Khaki Uniform Scooter Skirt (skirt with attached shorts)
• Khaki Uniform Jumper

BOY’S TOPS:
