Dear Parents and Students:

I feel honored to welcome you to Okolona High School for the 2011-2012 school year. We are looking forward to having a successful school year; however, we all know that success must involve all of us working together everyday.

Therefore, to have a successful school year, we all must be willing to commit to the following things:  

Respect -— respect will be given to all the administrators, teachers, staff, coaches, parent’s students, and other community stakeholders.
Trust -— trust opens the door of communication and collaboration (we must work together in order to have a successful school year.
Involvement -— involvement lets us know that you (parents) are ready and willing to help us help your child/children, and we will ask for your help.
Hard work -— Administrators, teachers, and staff will work hard everyday, and we will expect your child/children to work hard everyday, too.

In closing, always know that we care about your child/children at Okolona High School, and we will do our best everyday to give your child/children the best education we possibly can; however, we need your help because when we ALL work together, good things happen.
